I said I don't understand why when we start to get close she shies away. She says she has always been like that and has never gotten past it in any relationship. I asked if she had ever thought about counseling and she told me she had been before but never really stuck with it. Am I missing some innuendo here? All I hear is "Half of me loves you and half of me can't trust you, but it's not your fault". WTF?

She is afraid of being hurt. If she gets too close and you just **** on her it will break her heart because she really likes you. She has to know that you will be there and not hurt her.

wait a second dude, when she says "its not your fault" the truth is IT IS YOUR FAULT. i guess she thinks your like coming on too fast or something. maybe she isn't ready for whatever you want to have with her. maybe she can't trust you because of her past experiences with guys so its harder for her to trust someone. but beleive me when they say its not your fault it really means it is ur fault. everything a woman says it usually means the opposite of that.

maybe she's been hurt alot thats the problem i have i trust people to quickly and then people end up hurting me and then i get to wear i cant trust anybody. i whould just talk to her and prove to her that she cant trust you.

sounds like someone has hurt her very badly in her past...all you can do is try and talk to her about it, maybe explain to her that you are not like that
