Hemorrhoids, often called piles, are swollen and inflamed veins in your anus and rectum. They may result from straining when having a bowel movement or the increased pressure on these veins during pregnancy.

A sometimes embarrassing topic of discussion, hemorrhoids are common. By age 50, about half of adults deal with the itching, bleeding and pain that often signal the presence of this condition.

Fortunately, effective medications and procedures are readily available to treat hemorrhoids. In many cases this condition may require only self-care and lifestyle changes.

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/VAWhU
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.

I think it is hemorroides, they are painful, she probably had a bad bowel movement and pushed too hard and caused them. The tuck's pads help, preperation H is good also, but she will need something, there should hopefully be a 24 hour pharmacy around, because she will need something to ease the pain. Good Luck
