it seems to me like all they had done so far is to look for excuses and for scape goats ( the immigrants ) .
for those who do not know last polls show that of all ten states in which election will be conducted all 10 are led by the democrats and if they aren't they are tied .

The Republicans have control of the Senate, House, White House and even the Supreme Court. I think many Republicans are upset because even with all that power they still can't get all the high profile legistlation through Congress. I think Democrats are upset because Republicans control everything and our Country is going the wrong direction. And I think independants are upset because now that Republicans have control of everything they are shifting to a strictly far right political standing which many independants are against.
Another major reason is that the Republicans refuse to admit invading Iraq was a mistake. They first said that Iraq had Weapons of Mass Destruction (it was proven false), then they claimed Iraq was working with Al Qaeda (it turns out Saddam hated Al Qaeda as much as we did), than they said the Iraqi's wanted us to help them and would welcome us as liberators (6 out of 10 Iraqi's support the attacking of U.S. troops and even more want us out), now they say that it is because it's the front line in the War on Terrorism (They don't acknowledge that it was invading Iraq that gave terrorists Iraq as a new haven.) Even with all their reasons being false they still claim that invading Iraq was the right thing to do.

I hope so but the Democrats are no improvement. You need to rise up and take control of your country and make it a real democracy, instead of the sham that it is now. Try voting en masse for a third candidate. If everyone who didn't usually vote did this, you'd just about change history, if you found that 95% were voting you'd probably notice that existing voters would start voting for the third way candidate. It's not going to happen in one election so you've got to keep at it to build critical mass. Honestly, politically speaking you have fallen so far behind the rest of the free world that you are now viewed as politically backward by the rest of the free world. And if you think that in some democratic countries the government controls everything, it is because the people genuinely control the government and from there true freedom is born, not the sham freedom that is marketed to the masses in the USA. You have the highest rate of incarceration (higher than China), you execute as many people per head of population as China, and you have the cheek to criticise them. The only unstable head of state in the world right now is George W Bush, or, as I like to call him, George W Hitler. Seig Heil Fascist America!

Yeah, the Democrats might win in SPITE of themselves. I wish they'd try harder to "whip up their base" by being just a little courageous and tell the truth and scream out that George Bush is a big stinkin' liar and our servicemen and women in Iraq are DYING FOR NOTHING!!!!
