im currently trying Dan's regimen... read it here:
http://www.acne.org/regimen.html...
anyway, i started using a cleanser for sensitive skin, but i dont feel like it really cleanses my skin... it's still oily even after i wash it... so what i do, i wash it again 3x after rinsing to get it really clean (one cleansing in the morning, one before sleeping)... should i switch back to my regular (not-so-mild) soap?

There are different skin types and you should treat your acne accordingly. Tens of products out there that claims to combat acne. I tired a few. Some making my skin to dry and then coming sensitive.

Use products that are for your skin type. If you have oily skin then whatever product you buy make sure its not oil-base. As in the milky looking ones. DO NOT get anything containing soap even mild! Soap takes too much oil away and makes the skin tight and sensitive which can also produce acne.

I've got oily skin. I use a Garnier refreshing gel cleanser (without soap) mornings and before sleep. Sometimes i use it after I've exercised a lot or be out on hot days. Don't let those pores clogg up!

If you have combination skin then only put the cleanser on parts that are oily and an oil-in-water emulsion cream on the other parts. If you wash your face with a cleanser and the whole day your face doesn't feel oily and tight then you don't need cream.

Things to avoid doing: Don't pick on your face. Eat a balance diet. Drink lots of water.

My acne has lessened by doin this but really depends on your skin type
