I live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and would be willing to drive (not fly) drive up to 5-6 hours one way from where we are. I need ideas for places to go and things to do for our very 1st anniversary together. We are willing to go to the States or stay in Canada, as long as the driving distance is 5-6 hrs one way. We are looking to stay at least 1 night to 2 nights.

Chicago would be a great place to visit; it's about 6 hours from Detroit (which is right across the border from Windsor as far as I can remember) and you'd find plenty to do there. Couldn't even begin to list all the things to do in Chicago but chances are that both of you would have a great time.
