Yes I was angry and I am sorry for those I have offended. I reacted to someone denying christ and I am a young christian with alot of room for growth but at least I am mature enough to admit it. I try to not insult anyone

I do believe in Jesus the Christ and I too believe he is alive and will return soon. God will send him to teach the world how to live as God intended during the Golden Age. However things will get much much worse here before that happens and most of us will not live to see the Golden Age. May God protect you in the trials to come.

Just look at the corrupt priests, preachers, the tv preachers asking for money..jumping around and acting crazy, and fake faith healers. Who can believe that? Then read the Bible. Hosea 13:4 says There is no other savior but God. Only one. So then the Christians say he is three..father, son and holy ghost. The old testament tells us one thing...gives us strict laws, God says his word does not change...and then...the Christians say Jesus fulfilled the law and we no longer have to abide by the old laws. It all sound like a bunch of brain washing. My hope and prayer...is that God judges me and my heart...because he is the only one that truely knows what is in my heart. I do not think it makes sense that I have to have a "savior" to be with God. If that was so important for Gods "children" then I believe that somewhere in the old testament laws it would have said something like " in the future, I will send you a savior and you must believe in him." But of course it doesn't say that until the new testament. It just doesn't make sense. AND watch...people will read what I say, and because they disagree...they will thumbs down me...but they won't get out their Bibles, read Hosea 13:4 and other passages that say the same thing...and pray to God for guidance. Instead they will go to church and listen to a man preach and believe everything he says.Through the years the Bible has been translated and changed. It is not the same as the older versions. It was written by man..and alegedly "inspired by God." But not all books were included in the Bible. How does man know which books to include? How does man know what God wanted us to read, learn and obey. I believe that prayer is the only way to attempt to have an understanding. God lets us understand only what he feels we should know. But it is hard to take the Bible completly literally with all the changes that have come to it over the years.

LET THOSE REDeeMED OF THE LORD say so. talk about it SHOUT IT OUT LOUD.

And while I'm thinking about it, READ THIS:

in an answer you gave you wrote

"I believe that somewhere in the old testament laws it would have said something like " in the future, I will send you a savior and you must believe in him."

It actually does say that and much more on the subject of Jesus in the old testament book of Isaiah.

You are correct about many of todays evangelists being corrupt and spreading false teachings.
We are not supposed to be following those false teachers.
We are to be following Jesus.
Remember, His tomb was found empty. If Jesus had remained dead, The Jewish religious leaders would be able to produce his bones to prove he was no more than a crazy man.
But they don't have his bones, because Jesus is still using them.
So if you want the truth about Jesus, ask Jesus. He is alive and can answer for himself. He knows that if he chases after you, you will only run farther away. But if you seek him, He will be right by your side in an instant with all the proof you'll need in hand. Now I ask you for your own sake to not take the guy on TV's word about Jesus but to find out if Jesus is really the Messiah/Savior by asking Jesus.
That being said, You know what I believe, and still I say to you DO NOT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. Ask Jesus to show you what is real. If he doesn't answer you then I'm full of pooh-hucky, but if he does you could have all of your questions, doubts and fears, put to rest.

Now, I will not bother you again, but if you wanna talk later I'll be around.

Micah, Jesus himself said that "this generation shall surely not pass away until all things are finished", and "some of you living here shall not taste death until the Son of Man returns". Jesus' generation died out over 1,900 years ago. No Jesus. No God. No End Times. As an atheist, I don't believe God exists. So assuming Jesus existed, he was a false prophet, by defintion, as his prophecies are yet to come true. The time frame Jesus offered is over. Sorry, dude.

Did you come to know Jesus as your personal Savior because someone yelled at you? I know that if someone spoke to me the way that you are speaking here, years ago, I would have rejected Jesus because of it.

But instead people were loving and patient with me and I came to know Jesus and that He was like them, only even better.

Your time would be better spent working on growing in the Lord and the fruits of the Spirit like: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness and self-control.

Well you cannot force religious believes onto other people, in reality, there is no proof there is a God or 'Creator of the Universe'. People can only have 'Faith' and hope its right. True there is some evidence, but so many things are controversial and can be taken many ways.

Why do you ask? Seriously, you're just trying to feel justified for whatever you believe in by avoiding an actual confrontation with an actual person. And yes, I'm Christian.
