I've been hanging out off-and-on with a guy I care very much about for a year and a half now. But, I've heard rumors that he's hooked up with guys in the past. No one had actually seen him, but heard it from a person who claimed they saw him at a gay bar. I decided to dismiss the rumors because they seemed baseless. As for this guy, he knows how I feel about him. He said liked me but did not want a relationship right now because he was not ready for one (his last gf cheated on him). This by itself would not arouse my suspicions, but I still began to suspect that he is closeted. In the time we have been sort-of dating, he has not made any moves towards me and seems nervous whenever his dating history comes up. He is not a player, and did not date before me. Also, he doesn't really like pr0n or strip clubs. He's a "regular" working-class guy, and def. not a metrosexual. I get nervous sometimes and have my doubts. Would it be insulting to ask if the rumors are true? Or is he just awkward?

He probably is gay. He's prob also scared. Try opening up the subject about someone that you know who has recently come out. Maybe it might loosen the convo up a bit. If he looks comfortable talking about it then maybe trying another step by saying something else towards it. Just see how he reacts to just "talking about it", because he could be really scared to "come out".

I easily have had some 3 somes and that's superb executed with people you somewhat do not understand because of the fact finally it is going to wreck your dating alongside with your female chum. no be counted what you do or the form you act, she is judging you and your reactions. it is going to consume at her and twist her recommendations. adult males are lots extra open minded with a three some than a woman. it would be diverse if there have been 2 adult males and your female chum. i'd recommend against it, yet is she relatively needs it and you're the two ok with it, then choose for it. solid luck. stay existence to the Fullest and revel in each and every Minute of It.....

I wouldn't be insulted at all if someone asked if I was gay,(I'm hetrosexual) and wether he is or he isn't,he wouldn't be insulted if you asked him either, just try to limit how much you talk about why you were suspicious. ;-)

If you really want to know, ask him,it doesn't look like there's enough information there.

Edit:Oops, neglected to take into account the fact he could be in the closet. That was in the title, too. Doh.
Take from the first answer and be nice, ease into the conversation, etc.

Hope I helped,good luck.
