LOL... Use them if you want..it wont hurt you, at all! If anything, the potency isnt up to par (meaning for example: the fluoride dosage isnt going to be full strenght anymore), but its NOT going to hurt you. YOUR SAFE.......
*Dental workers use them all the time. Once a toothpaste expires in the office.. by law we cant sell it anymore to the patients. SO.. we all take them home and use them ourselves! ITS NOT GOING TO HURT YOU!

I wouldn't think it would be toxic. Put some on your finger and see if it looks ok. Even with prescriptions, I asked a pharmacist, he said they may lose their strength, but won't become toxic.
Since you aren't talking about mayo, or milk, it should be ok.

well. since you arent swallowing it,really i see no general health concern, however, dont count on equal fluoride protection or for the other ingredients to work as they should as they will have weakened with time. i would not use it as it is compromised in strength and efficacy.
