ummmm...you die.

You cannot live without a functioning liver. It filters the blood and without one deadly toxins build up over a matter or hours and your bodily functions soon shut down.

Liver failure is best described by what doesnt happen...the liver is responsible for the production of many needed hormones...these hormones help digestion. It is also one of the organs that filters toxins from the blood, so you can imagine the results of toxic blood in your system

Liver is a big internal organ. It just cant easily fail unless tremendous damage and abuse was done to it. You'll get very very very sick if your liver fails. Its fatal.

My husband died of liver failure and he suffered about 1 month could not eat and abdominal pain. He looked like an old man in one months time.

When your liver fails it stops detoxifying your blood & toxins build up. This happens over days/months. Your stomach increases in size (ascites), your blood amnonia level rises which can cause confusion. Without a transplant you will die.

you must then try to make good with your maker. or get a donated one put in.all kinds of thing happen. but it doesnt matter.i met a man who had a new liver and pancreus, put in at the same time looked very healthy what they can do these days is amazeing,good luck.

You get blue splotches on your upper chest--that's a sign of it. If you don't get a transplant, you die.
