No! Captain Blarg,
God will never abandon us like so many has abandoned Him. He is with you and always will be. Just because you don't get the answers that you want to your prayers, doesn't mean that He is not there.
When my brother was diagnosed with leukemia, I asked God to let me carry my brother's burden, I was told No, and the reason was that my brother had to learn to accept help from others, and I believe he was to help my family get close together again now that my Dad has passed away, the family was growing apart.

No my friend, God is with you.
Bless you,
May God show you that he is truely with you

No, He hasn't. Though the majority of our society has abandoned God, If you turn to HIM He will come running to you, and every angel in heaven will rejoice and celebrate over YOU.
But, noone goes to the father except through JESUS CHRIST. Remember, the tomb was found empty otherwise we'd still have his bones. Since we now know that he is still alive we can have communion with him and ask all the questions we want of the one who was there when everything was created. Beware of phony's, they will tell you lies in his name and try to decieve you. If you want to know about GOD ask GOD. Don't even take my word for it, Go directly to the source. GOD can answer for himself. He is, afterall, ALLMIGHTY.

That assumes there is a G-d in the first place. If there is (not likely), then yes. G-d has abandoned us. If there was/is a G-d, and he is the omniscient, omnipotent type that he claims to be, why would he allow so much suffering to take place (often in His name) when He has the power to stop it. He'll answer the prayers of Ted Haggard, Jimmy Swaggart, and Benny Hinn, but he doesn't flinch to help the thousands of people who truly need it. If all of this suffering is part of "His plan" I have to say that His plan is cruel. He claims that we are his children and he loves us all. Then G-d has Munchhausen syndrome

Good question.
If humans created God, humans are the ones abandoning God.

Of course not -- either he doesn't exist or he never had any involvement with us in the first place. Either way, since there never was a god that influenced anything on earth, he can't abandon what he was never involved in! :)

No, if you seek hIm with the following & only the following attitude:

humble, sincere, honest, desperate, teachable, without arrogant, minus pride, minus mocking & sarcasm. With that you need to willing take a faith leap into the unknown1st than He will show up. You can't find him if you use your mind & intellect.

Hope you find Jesus soon. Peace, man

No way. He is just allowing this time for us and the angels to see the results of rulership by humans.
