I'm seeing a guy and really like him. We didn't meet long ago but the way he treats me, it seems like he wants what I want - a relationship. How can i approach him without scaring him off? I don't want to assume

Well first it never hurts to sit him down and talk to him about where you both want to go with the relationship you are having. And second you are right do not assume because like the saying goes assuming makes an *** out of u and me. some times you just have to read the signs and follow the direction they send you.

You are assuming by being afraid you'll scare him off. Try a hypothetical conversation where you just talk about your hopes and dreams and what you would really like in a relationship right now.

Don't assume, but don't waste your time either. Tell him what you want and go off of his response, because if you wait on him to bring it up you'll be waiting a minute. And if he wants a relationship it won't scare him off, it'll make it easier for him to express himself to you. But tell him what you want, be an example to men (LORD knows they need one).Let him know what you want up front so that he won't assume or try to ease into your panties without committing to you, don't settle for less because you'll just make him less of a man!!!(good luck)!!!

Sit him down and ask him what he wants to happen here on out... Tell him you dont want to scare him off but you would like more out of this relationship... And please dont jump into a relationship to fast then get your heart broken... Then see what happens from there...

Good Luck,

Just casually ask him where he thinks you guys are headed. At least then you are on the same page. If he runs, he was going to go anyway, why set yourself up for more hurt later?

Don't rush it. He'll bolt faster than you can say "...and if anybody here knows of any reason these two people shouldn't be bonded together in holy matrimony speak now..."

yea i have a guyfriend and we've known each other for a year and a half. i think we both like each other more than friends, but not enough to go out, yet. so you can either wait for more signs like me, or u can brave up and ask him. it's not like anything disasterous is going to happen. go for it.

Tell him you like him and ask if he likes you. If he says yes then ask if he'd like to go out.

Life is too short to play games. If he doesn't want to date you, what have you lost? Nothing.

Have your friend ask him if he's dating anyone and if not, then is he looking to date anyone. And what type of girl is he interested. He will probably ask your friend why, and said that your friend is curious. If you fit into his list, then you can ask him out.
