In highschool, I only went for the easy girls. I have figured out now that those girls treat you like dirt. Theres this shy girl I like but I have no idea how to approach a shy girl. When I talk to her she just gets red with a smile on her face and stares at the floor when she talks back to me. Shes nice but I have no clue how to get a shy girl out of her shell. Any suggestions???

From my own experience (I am still shy) I will suggest that you start with the slight smile first, no monkey smiles. Then say hello every day and ask how she likes school or whatever she is doing, find out her name. Always use her name, remember Dale Carnegie. Try to start intellectual conversation and find her interests. Then when she is comfortable enough, ask her out to do things she likes, this way it won't sound like a date and she will trust you. Shy girls are solid, go for it. Good luck!

Don't talk too much. You may be afraid of having awkward moments, but anyone who is shy doesn't have those same feelings. Shy people are observers. Make kind gestures to show her that you care about her, but don't go too far too fast. Be generous and show her that she can trust you. Start of by going to casual events or hanging out with each others friends if she wants to. Don't pressure her into anything for a while.

Every day you see her talk to her even if it is just a "hi how are you how has your day been etc." You will have to get her to trust you also. She is probably embarassed and shy to talk to guys. So be patient with her, time is the best thing even though I know that can be the hardest thing. Good Luck

I used to be a shy girl so I can relate to the girl you like ... she obviously likes you so it's going to take time before she feels comfortable around you. Don't get discouraged if she doesn't open up right away. Give it some time...and don't forget to joke a little...that seems to be a good icebreaker. Hmm...that's all I have for now...Good luck! :)

Why did you go with "easy girls"? What did you want from them?
Now you figured that easy girls may not like you that much. What do you want from this shy girl? It depends on what you want. Do you want to study together, do cross-word puzzles together, go to church/mosque/temple together? It all depends on your intensions and her criterias for opening up to a stranger she may not feel comfortable with.

i used to be shy and from experience just make her feel like she's the only one . send here flowers with a note asking her out for a date or just for you and her to be dating. trust me she will come out when she gets more secure with you.

Are you in college? If so, do you know what her major is? Find out something about her major and ask her about it.

If you're not, find out about her job or her interests. If she's reading, as her about the book she's into. Things like that. Show an interest in something she has an interest in and ask her about them.

Forget about her man. She is going to make you work twice as hard and then she will probably get pregnant.
