about prayers being answered:
James 5: 15, 16.
15And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.
16Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
we're 'righteous' by faith, and this is how we obtain faith:
17Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
Romans 4: 9
We have been saying that Abraham's faith was credited to him as righteousness.
If God be with us who can be against us (somewhere in romans)
John 3:16, just a few, sorry so sloppy!

I have several. I hope these help. May God Bless you in your study of His word.
Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future".
Romans 8:28
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose”.
Isaiah 40:31
"Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary".

I am not sure what your situation may be but I know I dont need to know. It would be hard for me right now to give you encouragement but I did think of one chapter that I know I have went to many times when my heart was right with God and that is Psalms 139. Start from the beginning and read all of it. No matter if we are up or down God is with us. No matter if we are far from him or close to him, he is with us. God knows how we feel. I hope this chapter helps you as it has me many times before and even now. Thank you.

Romans 8:28 We are assured and know that all things work together for good to and for those who love God and are called according to his purpose.
If you are a Christian and have been called out to be separate from the world, you are called according to his purpose. Some things we go through are to shape us and are Gods will, some things I've gone through were to show me how someone else felt,so I could identify with them and be understanding, and some things I brought on myself or circumstances,or someone else chose to do something that hurt me.Whatever it is,God is able and he can turn things around for the good.I know if you are right with God.Come to him and ask to be cleansed and renewed, that he does answer prayers.

Romans 8:28 "For we know that all things work together for good to those who love God and who are called according to His purpose." This helps me a lot because I know that all things that happen to me are not good, but God can turn them around and use them for my good. Keep pressing in to God, He will not let you down.

i always read Psalm 91. "He that dwells in the shelter of the of the Most High Will abide in the shadows of the Almighty....
For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper.... He will cover you with His feathers and under His wings you may seek refuge; ....You will not be afraid of the terror by night , or of the arrow that flies by day, of the pestilence that stalks in darkness or of the destruction that lays waste at noon.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not approach you.....He will give His angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways, they will bear you up in their hands, that you do not strike your foot against a stone......
he will call upon me and I will deliver him, I will set him securely on high because he knows my name....... I will be with him in trouble, I will rescue him and honor him...." It brings me great comfort to know Who He Is, in spite of how I feel. God Bless!
