The best time to get married are between March and June. Most weddings are spring weddings. Due to the fact that the holidays are expensive enough and to add a wedding to that is even more expensive. Not to mention the weather is usually better for out door ceremonies during that time of year.

It all depends on where you live or plan on getting married. If you live in the south for god's sake don't get married in June, July or August. It is TOO HOT. Your family will show up but they will talk about you like a dirty dog afterwards. Trust me I know I live in La
If you live up north early Fall or late Spring since it will not be too cold.
Just think about the people you will be inviting to your wedding. Some people will attend a wedding no matter when or where, but you will have more in attendance if the weather is nice.

Think about where you live and when you have the nicest weather. No one wants to stand in the rain to throw the rice. No one wants to sweat or shiver through a wedding. You also don't want the high winds to rip off your vail. Also consider where you want the wedding and also the reception. If it isn't outdoors, then inclement weather will only slow the arrival of guests but have no effect on the event. But if you want wedding pictures in the park, you have to plan accordingly.

Most importantly, will the locations of the wedding and reception be available when you want them? It may already be too late to make reservations for 2007 at some places. Also, how much will it cost and how much longer will it take to save the money to pay for it?

Well, I'm getting married in June because I have to. (It falls right after I graduate from undergrad and right before I go to graduate school.) However, if I had my way, I would have a winter wedding. Everyone will be glad to be inside for the reception and will want to stay in the warmth longer, and it would be really pretty to have a wedding in the snow or in front of a snow backdrop (through a window) if you live in such an area.

any time in the year is good. june is good to.

In earlier days, they had a scientific reason for not conceiving (getting pregnent) in may -june as the child birth would fall in feb - march which was time for reaping in the fields and too much work used to be there in houses. (Earlier, most people were farmers).

But for the people living in modern world, it does not really matter.

SO, GO AHEAD AND MARRY WHEN EVER IT SUITS YOU. (but plan it so that you can go to your favourite Honeymoon place depending on its best weather)

AT a time when you had settled it all and budget won't be a problem.
And, I guess you should plan your wedding on a date that you think most of the people you want to witness your wedding can come and won't be busy....december will be for x-mas and thanksgiving, january is for new year, sept is the start of school, etc.etc...
