I am 14 and I've known this girl for two years. I think she might like me but I don't know for sure, plus she has a boyfriend who's on the football team and I'm not sure if i can be measure up to him.

Just be direct...try not to get out of line and respect what she has to say in return. This way you can still be friends once you've cleared the air. As complicated as this all seems it really is quite simple.

give it a time(they will probably brake up, and you'll have your chance), if you are 14, I don't think that she is any older than you, don't mess around with anyones relationship..how would you feel if somebody did that to you? even if you tell her that you want to be with her and she likes you and dumps her b/f for you, then she'll dump you for someone else as well...

Girls that age hardly ever stay with their guys for long. Plus, it will give you time to figure out if you really like her.

If she has a boyfriend then you shouldnt ask her out. She may see it as disrespect to their relationship, catch her when she is single and free to mingle.
