Na, just watch any groupie at a boy-band concert. The same reaction a boy-band groupie has is the same someone "touched" by G-d has during service, i.e. excessive crying, fainting, convulsions, etc. It's all just a psychosomatic response to false sensory input.

one SMALL example.I sold. door to door. for years. asking gods guidance all the time. i saw a box turtle in the road the spirit said pick it up.. no. not a loud voice. but if you pray you know and if you dont pray you dont know, what i mean.i picked it up. decided to drive back out of the mountains toward home. went maybe fifteen miles, decided to stop at a house, she said yes, she came out to my truck,ow you have box turtle, my son loaned his friend his box turtle. and he lost it.. would you give him yours . of course. god will work in an indivduale if you pray. it is that simple. i am telling you the truth, i did not make this up. may i burn in hell forever if i am lieing, there is a god. there. is a spirit of god,and like it or not you have a soul and a free will. no that is not proof. a feeling. could come from gas.you wont proof. try it you ll like it. if you dont try the spirit. with FAITH. and by doing so open yourself and ask guidance then you are a lost soul forever lost . knowing not what to do,

First of all, how do you know that's not just indegestion?

Second, I passed biology and all, without ever learning quite where the 'soul' is; unless you count Motown - but that's geography.

Third, if you believe, what does it matter if you don't have proof? If that makes you feel better...

No, it isn't. Look at the testimony of Joseph Smith the founder of the Mormon religion. He claims that the Devil was trying to get him but he felt the presence of God who delivered him. Then he went on to form a psuedo-Christian religion that teaches people that they are going to be just like God when they leave this earth. That's the same thing the Devil said to Eve in the garden of Eden so to me all it proves is the truth of this passage from the Bible.

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15

I recommend that you read Descartes for the foundations of the "a priori" argument to explain the existence of God.

Keep in mind that this is one limited viewpoint in the entire lexicon of Christian theology.

It is to the one whose soul God has entered after having been invited.

But you are being reductive. "feel...in your soul" is wishy-washy and goofy. What happens in your soul when you ask God to enter your life is a massive shifting, reorganization...a radical and what can seem like a violent uprooting of what is vile and unholy, to make way for Truth.

Only people who have had the experience of God entering their lives and beginning--with their consent--to remove that which is ungodly can attest to the fact that this is more than just a little feeling.

What God does is transform your life and conform it to Christ's, and this involves dispelling deeply held erroneous beliefs, delusory self-concepts, attractions and addictions to sins...and a cultivation of humility that hurts, because pride hangs on with claws and fangs.

When I say that the evidence for God is in my soul, I don't mean just a happy little feeling that makes me all smiley and stupid. What I am referring to is the rigor, discipline, and renovation (for lack of a better word) that I would never have consented to initially had I known what all it would entail. And yet I am grateful that I did consent when only half-informed, as God's transformation of my life has been and continues to be--I have since found--all that is worthwhile.

But again, only one whose life has been transformed as a result of inviting God into their soul knows what I'm saying here. This is verifiable to them...but not to you.

It is to me. I have had some recent problems that I could just not sort out. I decided to turn it over to God. I prayed that he guide me to do the right thing. Within moments, a calm came over me and I knew what I had to do. It was proof to me that a miracle had just occurred.

You don't feel God in your soul, you feel him in your heart. The soul is just your blood.

No. "Feeling god" in one's soul is simply a chemical reaction in the brain. This has been shown by many scientists.
