I am looking for a good pinot gris...I tried several of them at UNLVino, but I guess I had too much to drink then and I can't remember the damn names of any of them! Please, I implore you all, I must find the best pinot gris! (Please include price estimate as well.)

This site has an easy to use wine search and has good tasting notes on wines. http://www.gismondionwine.com/
Also Robert Parker on-line is good, but that is a member site $. I think you can get a free trial though.
I'm not sure where you are, but I know that B.C. Canada has been getting worldwide accolades for the Pinot Gris produced here.
Hope I helped

Honestly, the best bang for the buck in my opinion is usually a 2 year old pinot from any local vineyard. I have paid anywhere from $6 to $45 for a bottle of pinot, and anymore I usually stick with something in the $9-$12 range. It still has the flavor and boquet that makes pinot grigio an excellent wine, but without the high prestige label that you would pay more for.
