to get it. And I usually do get what I want, whether it be material items, technological gizmos, girlfriends, friends, my own way and I make the other people think it was their idea. When I feel that something is unfair, like when a store won't refund or replace a faulty product, i dig my heels in and create a scene until they eventaully give in. I always fight my own battles and don't let people walk all over me and I speak my own mind. However, I am a truly nice person and I would do anything for my friends and family.

pb_pony, I am an adult thanks, I just get sick of people letting people dominate them and intimidate them because they think they will slink backwards into the shadows with their tail between their legs. You should be able to stick up for yourself without being looked upon like a jerk or someone who is overeacting.

It is an immature way to look at life, and not really proved out by the later part of your question.
When you are an adult and life gets more complicated, throwing a tantrum isn't going to get you the job you want, the wife you want, the house you want, the car you want...etc., etc.

As long as your not hurting others around you then I don't think your doing anything wrong. If your using others to get what you want then yes it is bad.
If you are going about it in the correct way then there is nothing wrong with fallowing your hearts desire. If you have the ambition to get what you want then I say go for it. Unfortunately this type of lifestyle tends to cause jealousy from others. Don't feel too bad if people talk trash. Its only because they want what you have.

That shows determination. Keep doing what you're doing. But just one thing. Make sure that what you want isn't allready with someone else. Girlfriends, or material objects. But other than that, it is a wonderful way to look at life!!

sounds like your just a very strong willed person, i would only be concerned if you were to run over weaker people or hurt them even if un-intentionally. I dont mean warranties at best buy, but some of us domineering types can go overboard and not even realize it until its far to late.

It's a personal motto however it cant work in all situations. For example: someone who doesnt think its your idea might find you obnoxious and stalkerish and you might end up in a bad situation. Since you put this in 'singles and dating', I thot it appropriate to use that as an example. Youre very optomistic.
