That's his business not yours. If he is really your best friend you should not have problem with it.What are you going to do,stop being his friend because he has a Mexican brother?Either your friend is Mexican himself or that is his half brother.Did you worry about that when you where becoming his friend? It didn't matter then, why should it matter now?

I would tell the friend that I do NOT agree with his coming illegally and I would try to persuade the friend to instead tell the brother how to apply to come legally. Like DAR said here, if he comes and eventually gets deported, he will not be allowed to even try to return legally for at least 10 years and even then I would bet it would be even harder for him to apply to come legally because of his past record of deportation. I would explain all this to the friend and encourage the friend as much as possible to encourage the brother to do it right the first time because then he will never have to worry about being deported unless he gets into trouble with the law. I don't think I could promise the friend that I would not report the brother to INS. I am SO against illegal immigration that I think this would be the end of our friendship.

I would strongly encourage your friend to do the right thing and turn the illegal brother in or take him to the imigration department and start the process of becoming legal.

That's a tough one. If I were the friend (with the brother) I would tell the brother it is a bad idea, if only because they are cracking down now, and if you are deported formally, it is 10 years before you can apply to come again.
As a friend, it's harder, but I might suggest it to my friend, anyhow. It is sort of like seeing a friend swipe something at a store. Are you shocked? Yes. Do you turn them in? Probably not. Does it change your friendship? Well.... it would, mine.

Yes I might have got to accept as true with your mother on this case. You simply do not know individuals in at the present time and time. Ask the character that you just desire to have the sleepover whether it is good enough if you happen to invite one other pal over to become a member of you men. If so then ask the opposite character in the event that they might love to become a member of in at the amusing. If none of this works out, why now not ask this character to have a sleepover at your apartment rather in their apartment.

Honey, I would just act like I didn't hear anything. If something happens and the guy actualy gets caught, I would not lie to the authorities. If your friend is worthy of you, he will respect that you tell the truth. If he doesn't then I guess he wasn't your best friend to begin with.

I'd have to tell her he needs to do it the legal way. tell her laws against illegal immigrants are getting tightened and are being enforced. Americans will no longer sit back and let them come here undocumented and someone will eventually report him. Then report him! If you KNOW he is illegal you are abetting a CRIME if you don't report him.
