The LDS church has never made an official statement about the drinking of cola soft drinks. It is a tradition but not an official statement of doctrine. The only substances specifically mentioned are coffee, tobacco, tea, alcohol, excessive amounts of meat and anything in excess.
At BYU football games decaffeinated soft drinks are sold, the same as anywhere on the campus of BYU.
Incidentally two poorly-read contributors before me pointed out that the LDS church owns stock in Pepsi and Coke. John Winston even gave a website to support his claim of Coca-Cola stock investments. However that idiot didn't even read his own link. It clearly states that the LDS church DOES NOT own stock in either organization.
Geez...the level of intellectual incompetence some people demonstrate is staggering.

Coca-Cola is not specifically prohibited by the Mormon's Word of Wisdom. The Word of Wisdom (health code) prohibits alcohol, tea, coffee, tobacco, and harmful drugs. It also advises the abstinence from habit-forming substances. So, I suppose one could abstain from caffeinated drinks as caffeine can become habit-forming, but caffeine is not specifically listed on Mormon missionary literature as one of the substances prohibited by the Word of Wisdom and one of the substances that would keep a Mormon from being worthy to enter into a Mormon Temple. It is your choice to partake of Coca-Cola and to sell it in your establishments.
I suspect you are NOT a Mormon, but instead just a person wasting time being mischievous and deceitful and negative.

This is a question often faced by people who shop in stores own by a Jehovah's Witness. They won't sell liquor, cigarettes, and the like. People don't understand why since they are so profitable, but that does not change the fact that it is wrong. When I was young there was a local Pentecostal Church to taught that television was evil, so none of the members owned one. But, they still worked in a plant building TVs.

They would probably prefer u didn't, but may i ask why the church forbids the drinking of coke, cause it doesn't have cocaine in it any longer and caffeine is only bad if u drink too much of it. 1 Timothy 4 verse 3 says some will falsely command to abstain from foods.

I have always found it funny that a mormon cannot drink Coke-Cola when the mormon church owns stock in Pepsi.
The same thing when it comes to coffee, they are a stock holder in MJB coffee company.

I don't think so. But it doesn't say drinking or selling Coca-Cola is a sin in the Bible.

I doubt the mormans would find you selling to the corrupt heretics bad lol. Theoretically other mormans wouldnt buy it right? Besides if you dont sell it youll loose business cause people like to do one stop shopping, they dont wanna drive to another store just to get coke.

Of course. Why force your own limits on others?
Anyway, there's not a single case of someone going to hell for drinking Coke!
