I only give my opinion if asked. People who don't want to hear the true opinions of others shouldn't ask.

Good question. I don't know why people hate like that. If a person is not happy with their own body, why take it out on someone else? Of if they are happy with their body, what gives them the right to judge someone else? They don't know what that person's health is like, or their money situation or personal circumstances. We all have faults. Plus, a person's weight doesn't tell you what kind of person they are. If all you see is their size, then you are shallow, and have no right to judge in the first place. So, hope you get an answer, bc I have no clue. :)

***Just an added note: There are just as many skinny people who don't work out, are rude, bump into people and cant control their eating. They are just lucky enough to have higher metabolisms and different genes. And yet, apparantly, they are acceptable to some bigots, just because they aren't considered 'fat'. Go figure.

Why do they care anything about anyone. Why do they care if others smoke, or do drugs, or drink too much? Because it is a strain on the medical system. Hate would be an over statement though. Maybe they have no tolerance for the unable to control themselves people.

Honestly, I don't know why people feel free to make negative comments to those who overweight. Perhaps they weren't raised well? Just a guess.

Most civilized people know to use discretion when making comments about others because the comments you make say more about you than the person to whom the comments are directed. Keep that in mind the next time you hear something ugly come out of someone's mouth :-)

I get frustrated with fat people because they bump into me all the time. Just shove on through, without saying "excuse me" or anything. Also, it shows a laziness. They eat too much, they don't work out, they make excuses for themselves, and they take my taxpayer money to go to the hospital when they get sick.

No one should be disrespectful to anyone because of weight. Our society is so "model thin" driven that if someone doesn't fit the mold, they are looked down upon. Terrible, but true.
But then there are those awful people who only feel good about themselves when they can make someone else feel bad.

People become critical of people's weight because most people don't like to see what scares them. People fear becoming too fat or too skinny and they take it on people who are those things. People also criticise/become hateful out of jealousy, too!

I really don't know, but their hatred is disgusting. Maybe it's due to society's worship of the thin and fit.

Because there are people that are morbidly obese while others die of starvation.

It's like wasting water during a drought.

Make your question more specific then.

People are mean- that's why. Wish there was more to it, but some people just suck.
