Yes, you're a short-sighted jerk. You will die too.

What does asking for Social Security and planning to die have to do with each other?

Social Security is paid to the living to help out on living expenses.

Planning to die? I dont see them going hand an hand. Do you?

Good service is not your strong point so get out of the office front and let someone will a bit of tact do the job. Good service requires you to be polite to everyone that comes in - no matter what the reason.

We're all gonna die at some point! But the couple may have been offended at the fact that you pointed that out!

Pretty rude. You might want to start considering the concept of Karma...You will be old one day if you are lucky and won't want some young brat who hasn't learned his mortality yet pointing out yours.

First of all I don't believe you. People claim SS before they die, to live off the money when they retire, and if you really worked there, you'd know that.

No, you should not have said that.

The things that annoy you at the office and make you sharp tongued were not put there by the NEXT person who comes in and asks you a question.

What you said was impertinent, and, worse, you diminished yourself with your response.

Um, DUH! Yeah, it was rude. For one thing, you had no business asking a question like that, because it had nothing to do with their inquiry about Social Security. Secondly, do you not appreciate being employed? It was horribly unprofessional and if you had to ask if it was rude, that you should've already known.

To treat a person that way is totally disrespectful. You should not be working there if you have an attitude problem like that. You are a total JERK!!! I hope that NO ONE ever treats your parents or grandparents that way.

When you are their age, I do so hope you are not spoken to in the same manner.I hope you remember that incident until the day you die, I hope it haunts you forever. Also I hope no-one ever speaks to your parents/loved ones as you did to this couple.
