The state's website have a link to the Registry of births, deaths & marriages.
You will only be able to access the records under certain circumstances, go to:
azdhs.gov/vitalrcd/death

Or google one of the local papers (and check the obituaries tab) for Prescott Valley.

Ummm, wait and look up the obituary in the local paper for Prescott Valley? If you don't have access to the paper, maybe you can find someone in an Arizona genealogical society who can find someone with access to it who will do a "RAOGK" (random act of genealogical kindness, a loose network of genealogists who perform free lookups).

You should be able to go to the State of Arizona site and find a record of his death. It will probably have the names of his parents or wife and you can follow up with those. There are good geneology sites as well. And, you can check with the Latter Day Saints. Their geneology records are better than anyone's.
