my daughter is about to turn 16months on the 11th shes approx 20lbs shes walking and talking (although all kids are different my 27m old says only a bit more than her) Everytime you turn around shes teething, shes much more independent than she was even 2 weeks ago. She can understand that when shoes and jacket go on that mean time to go out, and when mommy says night night that means it time for bed, Because she has an older brother she know how to get into alot of trouble such as standing on chairs to reach things. At 16m shes sleeping through the night and just off the bottle. Shes only napping once a day now for oh 1 1/2 give or take. A 16m old is very tempermental and very attached to those she loves but not completly shy of strangers. hope this helps. Oh yeah they are funny and sweet

At this point a child should be walking. They should also be able to do some fine motor skills like using a fork and spoon and stacking blocks, stringing large beads.....Emotionally, they are starting to test out some new found independence. The terrible two's as they are called can actually set in around this time. Thay are more sympathetic at this time too. They will try to console when you are sad, laugh when you laugh...... Language skills at this point are getting ready to explode. Most children start learning a new word or two every day and they may be able to identify shapes and colors. Hope this helps

it appears like she's simply no longer that desirous about going for walks but or probably she's missing the arrogance. with time she'll begin going for walks extra so i would not fear approximately it. speaking that a lot sounds ultimate. my son used to be a later speaker (early walker) and he says the ones phrases now at 21 months. whilst he used to be sixteen months historical he loved drawing, useful puzzles, looking blues clues or thomas the tank engine for 10 mins. gambling with balls, his teddies... that type of factor. oh, placing matters beneath the couch and check out to get them again out once more. he used to spend a while at this and nonetheless does typically.
