Even though humankind has a mixture of wise and foolish people, we are all pretty much the same if you compare humankind to an infinitely wise God.
Sorta like, "Before humans, insects are all equally large and equally small." Bad analogy but maybe you get the idea?

It means when standing before God, all men look about the same, regardless of IQ and knowledge differences that we may spout.
