give her water in normal glasses (half-full?) so if she spills them it will not stain anything. Kool-aid keep in sippies.
Might as well do it now. She's old enough to understand how gravity works and that glasses are supposed to stay upright. Let her make messy mistakes. She'll learn.
If you want her to learn faster, put her stuff on a small board and tilt it slightly so that it'll get her wet when she spills it. She'll learn even faster that way.

Don't laugh, but I sometimes give my eight year old a sippy cup.
Like if it is grape juice, I don't want to take any chances on the drink spilling. She doesn't mind. But quite generally, she has been "off" the sippy cup for a few years. When your child is ready to use a small cup with no lid, she will spill for a while, but just keep trying

There is no age limit on the sippy cup, really. If she's able to drink without spilling, she should be able to handle a regular cup. All kids are different, but I used the sippy for quite awhile with mine, especially when we went places.

i'd say shes old enough now to start drinking out of a plastic childs cup now, keep her sippy cup or use a water bottle when you go out and let her use a normal cup while at home she should soon get the hang of it and only want to use a "big girl's cup"

You should probably go ahead and take her off. Usually around the age of 3. Then it can cause dental problems

She is about ready. I'd say at least by 4.5. Mainly when she is careful and steady enough to hold a glass of water without spilling it.

try encouraging her to feel like a 'big kid', or a 'big person'.. be like, you want to be like us, use a cup.. and stuff like that.. i had to encourage my littlest one in such a way.. make them feel good about growing up..
