Apples with caramel, turkey wrap rolls, fruit, veggies with dip, I guess these are basics but I do this and people love it. You could also do a dark chocolate fondue with strawberries.

Go to the Market, get Yourself 4-5 large mushrooms for every guest your expecting,

also while your there get a 1/4 to 1/2 lb container of crab meat( You can use surimi-fake crab)

also pick up your favorite sliced cheese be creative I like Swiss, smoked Gouda, dill Havarti, or whatever you wish!

OK pull all the stems from the mushrooms, turn them hole up on a greased cake pan, take about a teaspoon of shredded crab meat and place in each mushroom, take your sliced cheese and fold twice to make 4 equal pieces, take your separated cheese pieces and cover the crab filled mushrooms, fill greased cake pan( spray cooking oil works better for me!) with the mushrooms top down make sure all the crab meat will be covered with melted cheese, and bake at 350 for just 8 minutes or untill cheese is completly melted! Some people like to add a special garnish to the caps when you pull from the oven, like bits of green onion, or maybe a tiny pinch of bacon bits, or just use your imagination, some people Me included, like to wash the mushroom caps in balsmic vinager, just a fast dip and let them dry stem side down till dry( this step isn' nessesarry but oh! what a differance! this whole recipe takes just a couple minuts to pull off! with fantastic results. Try it your friends will be amazed!

For healthy and no-work hors d'oevres, buy already cut-up raw vegetables and cream-cheese based dip (lowfat cream cheese mixed with salsa's not half bad).

chicken skewers are healthy, but they're more work ;-).

Hummus Hab (made with only a spoonful of tahini instead of a lot) with pita crackers.

Baba ganoush made with the same.

Tzaziki (Greek yogurt mixed with chopped garlic and cucumber) with the same.
