Your bf didnt use the correct afrikaans spelling

i am very ok (?) -- for you, and can not be away from you??? --- it's something like that. i'll try to find a book and look up some of those words.

p.s. -- don't listen to the answer above this one. afikaans is NOT a mix between german and dutch. it's a grammatically simplified offshoot of dutch with english, bantu and i guess khoisian loan words.

ok, i can't find definitions for the words "lies", "fir", and "wee" because this book is limited. i was wrong about a couple of the other words though. "sien" doesn't mean "to be"., it means "to see"., and "wag" doesn't mean "way" or "away"., it means "wait".

if i had to take a stab, i'd say it means:

"i am ok much loss for you, and can not wait around you while you don't see."

hmm,,, maybe you should go with a second opinion if one comes along.

The word "lies" is spelled wrong, it should be "lief". "Lief" is derived from "liefde" = "love".

Afrikaans is a combination of German & Dutch if that helps
