I've got a bunch of cousins that are Jehovah's Witnesses. I don't buy it because they don't accept Jesus as God's son. I don't think they do, anyway. Not real sure on specifics. But, I don't knock any religion, we're all entitled to our own, I suppose. It's really hard for Christians to witness the Gospel in these times, so I'll just spread the Good Word through music. It's the only way I know how.
Didn't answer that question at all. I suppose a simple "no" wouldn've been the way to go here. Ah well.

Achtung's right: you're obviously not really a... aww c'mon, I'm just kidding!! ; )
Seriously, he makes a good point. You've opened the door to a lot of spiritual danger here; there are a disproportionately high number of parasites targeted against Jehovah's people, and they'll ALL on the Internet.
I find the strict question/answer format of Yahoo! Answers to be somewhat safe for Witnessing, but if you're looking for association.....
Be very, very careful, OK?

Well i was rasied as one and my whole family still are JW. The elders don't encourage talking or chatting on the internet which is why people aren't on yahoo answers. I think the Awake! had an article about it before too. Anyway, the best thing you can do is go to different Kingdom Halls out of your area to meet people. Are you trying to find a man? Well, lol, so is my sister. You know how hard it is to get one in the religion, they get snatched up as fast as hot cakes!!

Seek the truth. It is NOT FOUND in the "new world" MIS-translation of scripture. The so-called "primary translator" was forced to admit in court that he couldn't read even very simple phrases in Hebrew, Greek, or even Latin. NO REPUTABLE Biblical languages scholar would agree with its reading... I've been using Greek exclusively for New Testament study over 20 years now. John's Gospel makes 43 explicit claims to the divinity of Christ, yet the "witnesses" deny it.
See, for example, John 8:58 “What I’m about to tell you is true,” Jesus answered. “Before Abraham was born, I am!” 59 When he said this, they picked up stones to kill him. But Jesus hid himself. He slipped away from the temple area.
…Obviously the Jews that heard him considered the statement as a claim to divinity. They tried to kill him for what they considered blasphemy. Even the nwt gets that one pretty close, but they completely miss the point of it.

Jehovah's Witnesses generally look for association in their congregations, rather than on the internet.

Wouldn't you much rather get to know Jesus, the One True God!!! He soo much more powerful than your god and He's the Friend that sticks closer than a brother (or sister)!!! My cousin was a j/w, as his parents brainwashed him. Then he committed suicide because of it. (True story). Now he's in hell for all eternity. (also true). Cults and generational curses, gotta break them.
