Homosexuality in some form is mentioned in both the Old and New Testaments (never specifically by Jesus).
Of course, if we read the Bible as the literal word of God, then we must conclude that not only are homosexuals sinners but also any woman who wishes to teach or speak up in church/society, people who eat pork, etc..
I believe the Bible is a valuable source in which to connect with God. But when we read it as the literal truth, we find ourselves concluding all sorts of things that I believe do not make any sense.
Remember, for every Christian that condemns homosexuality, there are 10 of them that are divorced (which Jesus specifically spoke against).
One of the most faithful Christians I know is a lesbian. I believe with all my heart that Jesus loves her for who she is. And I believe Jesus loves those who divorce too.
peace

Leviticus 18:22
22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.
The wording varies from Bible version to Bible version, but it is more or less the same

It says that it is an abomination for a man to lay with a man and a woman with a woman.
Lev 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.

Romans1:24ThereforeGod also gave them up to uncleaness on the lusts of theit hearts, to dishonor theirt bodies among themselves. Romans1:26 For this reason GOD gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.:27Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, mem with men commiting what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. :32 Who, knowing the righteous judgement of GOD, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

Leviticus. There's a bunch of crap in there that says if a guy humps another guy like a woman, kill him, and him. It's an abomination.
Not that I believe any of that crap is worth anything. If you have enough animals without blemish to kill and offer burnt offerings to the barbaric god and the god's priests (who are the only ones, along with their families and certain slaves that can eat these perfect burnt offerings), you might be able to be gay and not stoned by the whole community.

Eldude has to realise his mistake. he quoted from the Bible (Torah, to be precise) instead of the heretical scribblings that make up the xtian "book of lies".
However, well done. Always go back to the earliest sources.
