Short answer, yes.
Submission to God is a powerful place to be. The Devil cannot touch you, you merely have to resist him and he scampers off with his tail between his legs.
The fruit off the Spirit is extremely powerful:-
Love, even for your enemies. Look at the time Christians have forgiven those that tortured, raped or murdered them or their families.
Joy, (a positive outlook) whatever the circumstances
Peace, even when everything is in ruins all around you, even in the middle of one of life's Katrina's.
Goodness, that is, always being caring about other people
Kindness, which is goodness in action. Helping people, showing mercy to them, encouraging them.
Patience, being able to put up with a person or situation indefinitely, without grumbling or complaint. Never getting upset or angry. being forgiving and merciful
Humility or Gentleness, never letting praise or insult affect you, being sure of your place in life, never insisting on your rights, being willing to do the dirtiest, most menial tasks without needing to be thanked or rewarded.
Self-Control, the ability to ignore your own needs and desires for the sake of someone else. Not being driven by bodily urges.
Now THAT is a life that makes me happy!

Holiness and Happiness are two different concepts. Holiness is state of perfection that only God can be said to be holly, however, there are people who because of their positions in the church are expected to be holly but they are human beings. On the other hand happiness is state of atmost health or the dreamland. It all depends, for me on earth holiness cannot bring true happiness, but, if holiness in this sence is God himself then yes because in God there is happiness and the two cannot be separated.
It is very natural and possible to be happy of the things of God, first and far most you should be happy that you exist as a person and that is the work of God and he continues to guide you.

i have been unhappy my whole life. I am 32. I tried religion 2 years ago. Since then my life has become worse. I have tried and tried to get into the whole happiness and religion, but with no answers and no luck. So i guess it depends on the individual. Or it depends which religion is the one true fate. I belive there is 1000's of religions, but who can honestly say which is the true one? I am sure if by some way god personally would make this known yes it would bring true happiness. Please let me know when you find it, as i am still lost.

The answer to your question really depends upon your concept of holiness.
!. True holiness is found in doing no wrong.
2. Learning from your mistakes and not repeating them.
3. Being clean (cleanliness is next to Godliness).
4. Being non-judgemental.
5. Being Charitable
6. Returning hatred with Love.

If you go by the laws of the Bible and the Church - Of course you will not be happy. These things were designed to create fear (and make money)
However, If you realise that there is no right or wrong, there is no "Hell", God is not vengeful and we are all here to simply experiance life and remember who we are - You can be happy and you will be living a "holy" lifestyle. God only wants for us what we want for ourselves. Careful not to listen to your ego though, listen to your soul.

Yes.
One can get happy over the Things Of God, by contemplating the many Blessings that God Has Bestowed upon them & thanking Him for them.
One can also get happy over the Things Of God, by Contemplating special events Concerning God. Example The Life Of Christ.

It's the other way around. The Bible says seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you. No one but God can be holy. But when we seek God, we enjoy Him and He gives us happiness, and His holiness in us follows after that.
Yes it's very possible, but only in Him. (John 15)

If you are looking for happiness now, than no. If after Armageddon, when you have everlasting life for thousands of years, on a Paradise Earth, without growing old, without illness, and with your complete mental capabilities, you are happy, than isn't the lack of true happiness in this old system worth it? You think in such a linear way. You have to think in the long term. Of course, most people really don't have the faith they claim, so they have to live for the now.

Holiness is state of perfection and there is noone even qualified on earth that can say they are holy. Happiness, however, you can find in person Jesus. He is the only thing that can fill the void in our lives, unfortunately, people try to fill this void with sucess, money, etc.. The Lord is looking for people on earth to be willing to open their hearts to Him and let Him come and live and express Himself through them.

true holiness does bring me true happiness, everytime i look at the trees or the flowers or every living thing, i know that GID made all this for us. every breath i take is becouse i know that my LORD gave me life. every day i thank the LORD for all that he has done and given to use. and i pray every day for every lving thing. just thinking about the LORD puts a smile on my face, i look up to the sky and see how beautiful it is,when i feel down all i have to do is close my eyes and start praying and i start to feel better,
