Most PCs come with trial versions of software. We can usually use them for 30 days. After that, if you do not purchase, they will not load.

If you are absolutely sure this is something you do not want, and you wish to uninstall it, try this first:

click Start
cl Programs
locate the program you are talking about
see if there is a sub-menu that will allow you to uninstall

If not:

click Start
cl Settings
cl Control Panel
cl Add/Remove

Very carefully look down the list of programs. When you see the offending program, click it to highlight, then click delete. Be careful here - in some instances, when you delete a program, the next program in line becomes highlighted. You should be finished here so click the "x" at the top right and leave the Control Panel.

Restart.

I'd appreciate knowing if this helped.

Please be specific: which software is the message referring to?
If you thing you have a spyware or malware problem, (I suspect you do) try superantispyware (google it) I realize the prog is not well known, but it fixed a few issues adaware did not nor spybot (my 2 former favorites)
