Besides being a student or a teacher, am I ever going to need to know how to graph sin and cos functions?

You may never have to know how to graph sin and cos functions (quite honestly, I don't even know what those are....if that answers your question).

However, it might be useful to learn how to follow through with something---especially if it's difficult, boring, or seemingly pointless.

Yeah, u know, i'm not a math fan either but i agree that most things in life revolve around it. If u wanna do any science related job, then u've gotta know all that stuff.

Depends on your future job........engineering/architecture use a lot of calculations and graphing.....actually, so does animation and game programming.....computer scripting.....etc.

If you're going to run a flower shop, then no......

You not need to teach but if become engineer or work electronics, build bridges, design better wheel than you need.

pay attention now, things like this help brain to expand, be smarter, like me.

They don't usually require that at Mc Donalds, but working at NASA you might need to know it.

If you're planning on becoming an engineer, I think you have to know trigonometry.

strangely enough i have used it in my past, it was handy to know and not have to look up..... but for the most part, no the only reason you need it is to pass your current class.
