i went to public school all my life but do you think it willl hurt me to be home schooled for the last 4 years... will i become socially retarded.?

On the contrary, it can really help you socially, if you use the time home well. Some students use the free time that they gain from homeschooling to go out and do volunteer work in the community, join clubs, visit nursing homes, etc. All of these things will help you socially. It's really up to you and what interests you. And being around more grown-ups will help you mature socially as well.

See if you can get a copy of Grace Llewellyn's book, "The Teenage Liberation Handbook". It goes into great detail on how to "unschool" high school.
And don't worry about being "socially retarded". Homeschooling will only improve upon what you already have because you have the opportunity to interact with more than just your age-group peers.
