Ham (was the son of Noah) his son Canaan was cursed with leprosy. So Ham was of nubian descent for his offspring to be cursed white. You can't turn white to white.

The Hebrew word for leprosy refers to many types of skin diseases.
so it could be turning skin white or as in modern leprosy out can cause the loss of fingers toes and what not.
Further more It never says that Canaan was cursed with leprosy. it actually states in Genesis 9:25-27 "So he said, 'cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brothers.' He aslo said 'Blessed be the Lord, The God of Shem; and let Cannan be his servant. May God enlarge Japheth, and let him dwell in the tents of Shem; and let Canaan be his servant."
