The proper height-weight requirement is dependant on your current age. But my best bet for you would be to calculate your own BMI (Body-Mass Index) at home.
If you plan to join the Air Force (or any branch of the service for that matter), you might want to start your own exercise or training regime. Also, if you are not into running and jogging, its best to start doing so now. Start at 2 miles as an initial target and work your way up until you can do 5 miles without feeling like being wasted at the end of it (and remember to time your jogs/runs). You want to keep that under 15 mins initially and move down to 12 mins average.
Also remember to do weights training, you will thank yourself later for conditioning your muscles now, rather than after getting into basic training.

The air force's height and weight requirements vary on your age and occupation. The best way to find out if you qualify is the contact a recruiter. Don't let the recruiter talk you into anything -stick to your guns about being a pilot and don't lose sight of that dream. I found that going reserve gave me more options in picking a specific career field and provided financial aid options.
My husbands answer, he is Active Reservist.

Generally they don't allow women to be special operations...height is important...if you're going officer that's the only way you'll become a pilot. I'm pretty sure that if you're a pilot you have to be between a certain height, and that it's not negotiable...but I'm not a pilot so I could be wrong...

The Air rigidity and military are both getting too many might want to-be recruits. Your possibilities might want to be extra perfect with the military, even with the actuality that that's nevertheless no assure (also they're getting adequate recruits who do not favor waivers immediately.) That suggested, it would not damage to come back again and ask in some months. bypass examine with a militia recruiter about your possibilities, and then bypass again and examine with the Air rigidity in some months. If the Air rigidity remains saying no, that's probable going to be no for a lengthy time period (like a twelve months or longer.)

They will let any fat *** JOIN. Once you are in, if you are big, they will make you feel like the scum of the earth until you are in shape.
You are put on fat island. You eat at a different table. You eat different food. You have modified training (PT).
You would want to be a normal weight before you go. Why let them treat you like ****? They are cruel and impatient. If you join out of shape, you will not be promoted as fast. It will be adding a lot of extra tasks and pressure on an already huge lifestyle adjustment.

Means everyone answered your question I figured I would just let you know that you will be able to become a pilot but for the most parts women are stuck to flying Cargo and Refueler aircraft. As for Spec Ops due to your sex you will not be able to do this. They are only open to men. I know you prob dont think its right but thats how it is....

According to the U.S. Air Force web site, there is a height and weight requirement.
Check the Q&A section, under "Common questions" and you'll find a link to the height/weight chart (PDF)

typical height-weight chart.
You can appeal if you're outside of that, but if you're overweight be prepared to show them that you're all muscle.
The USAF tends to prefer skinny people... and flight school will push you that way if you're not there already. The Texas heat has a slimming effect....

Your weight depends on your height, and as long as you are above 5 feet then I don't think you have anything to worry about.

your question has more than clearly been answered above I just wanted to say that most of the recruiters are very very focused on the BMI as well...my son is 5'11 and was a good weight for his size and to be honest not an ounce of fat on him all muscle and the weight allowance he had was grim...........
