I work at the Longfellow Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Ma. It is the oldest working Inn in the US. The first drink made which we the still serving today and are famous for is called a Coow Woow and is served straight up as a martini, and made of 2 parts rum and 1 part ginger brandy. Enjoy!!!!!!

Mai Tai's are good and use dark rum. Or try a few different concoctions and use that.
