Absolutely. In women, ovarian cancer can make hormones fluctuate wildly. In men, testosterone is the food that feeds prostate cancer. Urologists might prescribe hormone therapy which depletes the testosterone from the prostate, therefore starving the cancer. This is commonly referred to as "chemical castration". Depending on the patient the urologist might prescribe radiation therapy to make sure the cancer is in remission. When the patient stops taking the (anti)hormone pills, he gradually gets back sexual ability.

Cancer didn't mess with my hormones that much, but chemo sent me into early menopause. So, my hormones haven't been right since then. [almost 2 years] Still, that's loads better then having cancer!
