I had a baby almost 10 months ago, I'm now trying to lose weight and get my lower belly flatter. I am already exercising but my little belly is not going away. Does any body have any suggstions?

I feel ya! My baby is 3 months, and two months ago I claimed that I would start an exercise program and stick to it. So far, I've worked out twice-lol!! I applaude you for trying to re-claim your body, no matter how long ago it was. We have to stick with it no matter what.

The key is QUANTITY, not QUALITY. Most of us believe that if we do all the situps in the world that our stomachs will be flat. We should dedicate at least 10 to 15 minutes of a variety of abdominal exercises DAILY--paying close attention to the correct form and breathing. Try to include crunches, sit ups, pikes, dead man's kicks on our backs, alternating elbows to knees, and scissors (exercises while on our backs).

When working on abdominals, exhale when contracting and inhale when expanding muscles.

Continue to work out and stick with it!! Don't go the surgery route.

I know you have heard this many, many times... exorcise. But it is the truth. The best exorcise with the least amount of impact (damage) to the body is walking. Get out and walk everyday at least two (2) miles or 1/2 hour. And... don't eat after 7:00 PM at night. Do these to things and you will loose weight and burn away that 'ponch' in no time. You need to make a life style change... make walking an everyday part of it.
