my girlfriend one year ago had stressed about school and stuff but she would still be like me and goof around and joke around.this year shes still stressed about school even more and she wont joke around with me,i try to get her to joke around but she's gotten so serious its like if she makes a B on a test its the end of the world.one day i had lost something of my father's(deceased) in school and i was running everything that had happened to me during the day at lunch and i was sitting with my gf and i was joking around everyone at the table was laughing but she just said something like its stupid not funny and not meaning to i said "gaw quit being so serious its like im hanging out with ur mom"and now i've tried to explain wat i meant by it but i dont know how to say it or how to apoligize in a big enough way because this was a big hurt to her.

Do not ever tell a girl she is just like her mother. That is right up there with "do these pants make me look fat". Do not touch it with a ten foot pole.

You didn't do anything wrong. She's making too big a thing of it, and doesn't have a reason to have a big hurt. Maybe you could say something like, "Hey, I hope you're not still mad at me. I didn't really mean you're like your mom. I only meant you were being real serious and I was just trying to joke a little & make you feel better. Hey I'm sorry, What would you like to do now?" Good luck, but it sounds like she might have some other problems that you can't do much about.

4get that she has her head stuck up her own butt , u make sure u tell her that u r not hte reason she is tressed out so dont hold u accountable 4 it on some serious crap dump her she is a spazz, she seems like a whinner.

Get her in a quiet room and have her talk to u about her problem your role being to listen...
