the simple answer to this is dry skin....going into more detail, if u shower in really hot water, the hot water will get rid of all the natural oils on ur skin causing the skin to be dry wich causes irritation which equals to itching, try showering in warm water instead of hot and use a moisturizing body wash, do not apply lotion right after showering because that is when ur pores are open and putting lottion can actually cause u to break out bc of the extra oil instead, wait a few minutes after to apply moiturizer.

It could be from the soap you are bathing with.
Try looking in search: itching after bath

do you have a rash that accompanies the itching? if so then maybe allergic to the soap if it's simply getting too hot try taking a cooler shower and make sure the soap you use does not leave a residue afterward Lever 2000 works best for me or dial Good Luck

Try taking your bath or shower in cooler water. You shouldn't start sweating right after bathing. If your skin is dry, use a moisturizing lotion after bathing. I hope this helps.

you may be taking too hot of a bath. it could also be the soap you are using. if you sweat after you take a bath, chances are the water is just too hot and your body temperature has risen.

do you use bubbles?? don't use anything like that. sometimes hot water can dry out skin. I use epsom salts in my baths and I always always always moisturize after baths (and showers) with a good lotion. winter is esp bad for this. try a good cream, there are so many choices at drug stores, liek vaseline, st ives, jergens, dove.i personally like coco butter, so rich and creamy it works well

Your skin is dried of it's oils from the shower. Just apply lotion as soon as you dry off!!
Be careful with the scratching you might get stretch marks!
Make sure your towels are clean too. lol.
