I need to instal a fax printer on my computer and I have to disable my antivirus software before instaling.

right click the norton icon in the system tray click on disable or exit

Left click on you Norton's Anti-Virus software icon in the tool bar and in the options you will find disable Norton's Ant-Virus!

Go to "Control Panel"...click on "add or remove programs". Voila, you're done. Do the same procedure for installing your fax machine.

lower right hand corner...right-click on the antivirus icon and click on disable

you will find its icon in the system tray...right click on it and click disable

right click on the logo in your task bar (by your clock) and disable.
