Most people choose their religion based on the sexual appeal of the girl they're dating. If the girl is very hot, I would consider becoming Jewish or even Latvian Orthodox. If she is only as hot as me, I would insist we each keep separate religions. If I am clearly hotter, I would force her to convert.

Considering that Faith is by its very nature, irrational, I'd say most people base their religious decisions purely on Faith. The few who use Reason are usually agnostics or atheists.

You use reason to make decisions in ordinary life (at least you do if you want good decisions instead of crappy ones). In ordinary life, faith is not seen as virtuous, but is instead equated with stupidity.

What makes you think the same is not true regarding religion?

reason would desire to be utilized in a determination approximately any situation. in spite of person-friendly ideals, rational judgements are considerable whilst it consists of making a determination some faith. The "blind leap" element is stupid. there's a great style of evidence which would be seen from secular supplies that right this moment help what the Bible has to declare approximately previous historic previous, or Jesus Himself. Josh McDowell wrote a e book entitled "evidence That demands a Verdict". whilst he first began out, his motive became into to teach the Bible to be a pretend. He replaced his recommendations approximately that.

Personally, I look at nature and see no other way for it to have come but through a creater. However, in the end it comes down to faith since logic can never prove or disprove the supernatural, this is why it is supernatural.

People who do not believe use reason. People who believe use faith. I tell you this I have prayed for the sick and the Lord healed them. One lady with heart truble the dactors said she was going to die. There was nothing they could do.I prayed 9 years later she is still alive. I could go on and on. But you with no faith will not believe any how. But if you did believe you would feel his tuch as I have. I know you do not believe. But on your death bead you will wish you did.

it depends on the question. mostly reason is used but faith is put in here and there. you cant use reason to answer the question, "was God really always in existance?" no you cant use reason on that. you use faith. you can use reason on something like, "is it wrong to kill?" think about it. if someone wanted to kill you, you wouldnt like it. in the same way, no one would like you to kill. reason is used in this question.

I, like many Christians, came to faith by reason. After all, God calls us to love Him with all our minds as well as all our hearts. Hard to do that if you are not using your mind.

Should be by reason John 17:3 This means everlasting life their taking in knowledge of you the only true God and of the one that you sent forth Jesus Christ.
So I guess the reverse would be true if you didn't take in knowledge you wouldn't have eternal life.
