How many days ahead of time do you guys ask girls out? (we're in our early 30's). I know it's only Monday. But shouldn't he ask ahead of time if he wants to get together this week/weekend? When should I assume we're not doing anything?

there are no rules. why set yourself up for disappointment by trying to guess stupid things like how many days?

It should be at least a few days ahead of time. DON'T ACCEPT ANY LAST MINUTE DATES. It's usually a sign that a man has little if any class or sense and it's disrespectful, in my opinion(fatherly advice). And taking you for granted, as the above poster says.
YOU CAN EVEN BE HONEST and say that you never go out on this short of notice. I would actually recommend saying it directly.

Well, most guys dont think about that stuff until like thrusday or friday. Then they will be like so whatcha doing wanna go out. We dont plan that far ahead. Strike up a conversation one day and ask what is he doin this weekend and see what he says. Then maybe hint that you aint doin anything at all except watchin tv.

If he wants to see you on Friday or Saturday I think he should call you on Tuesday.
After you've been going out for a while he can wait until Wednesday to ask about the weekend.
He should ask early because he doesn't know if you've got other plans.

This is weird..I know I always went with the three day thing..but now that we are older and have big jobs and maybe kids and more...I think what ever day works for both of you is great..whenever it is decided...flexable is the way to be..life is hard enough..dont add to it.
