What if there is no creator, no plan, and instead of faith, delusion. Are you willing to remain deluded?

What makes you think that God's plan for the world doesn't involve people having faith like the Bible says. Why else would the Bible have so many stories of men and women of great faith. One of the New Testament books even talks about having great faith like Abraham and Moses did.

I have faith in everything I do. And for those who say it is otherwise foolish, have you ever placed an order at a drive-thru? Don't you drive forward in faith? I know I sure do. Heck, I get in my car having faith that some maniac drunk isn't going to be on the road between my house and the store. I have faith in pilots when I get on a plane, in sending my children to school without them getting shot (though that's waning lately), in eating fresh vegetables without getting food poisoning.

Of course, my faith in God and His plan for my life allows me to not worry about those other things on a daily basis, but my main point is that we all do these things with faith that nothing bad will happen to us regardless of why we believe it.

Gods plan for the earth and mankind can be seen by the creation of Adam and Eve.
They were created as perfect human beings, designed to live forever. They were placed in a garden paradise, and told to multiply and fill the earth with perfect offspring.
So Jehovah God's plan involved man serving him out of love and in return being given the gift of eternal life.
However,Adam and Eve misued their gift of free will and decided that Satan had a better idea and that was that man didnt need God telling them what to do.They decided to make their own decisions independent of God and we see the result of their rebellion all around us today.
But Jehovah out of love for man, allowed his only begotten Son,Christ Jesus to come to earth and offer his perfect human life as a ransom sacrifice. In order that those who exercise faith in that ransom, have the opportunity to be freed from enslavement to sin and death and have the opportunity to benefit from God's promise to restore mankind and the earth and fulfill His original purpose

Let me ask you this. What if God doesn't want you to have faith as prescribed in the bible, but instead want you find the answers for yourself, saving needless suffering via self induced brainwashing?

what if the creators plan involves more than one god? what if in the beginning of the universe when light and dark seperated the various shades of gray became gods. what then? the uber light ( no gray or hint of black) could not touch the uber black ( no light) so they each have to work through all the shades of gray. ie confusion / coruption , faith in "the light" is only faith in the gray. because the Light coulnd't tough us *( we have evil that can touch us there fore we must be gray ) so, yeah. what if.

What if people stopped trying to use pascals wager. Take in to account there are more than one god. more than one religeon.

The bible says what it says. You should read it and believe what it says. You should not try to put words or change what it says. times have not changed the ruls or meaning of what the bible says. people are the ones who say whel that was for then , but things have changed , so it is not for now. If the bible says it was sin then it is sin now. The bible says to have faith and believe with all your heart and sole. Not 1/2 . With fath and love for our Lord things can be changed.

What if it doesn't? What if the bible was written by men without any help from God at all? I have explored Christianity.

Do you have an unwillingness to explore other possibilities?

I am unwilling to accept a God who requires Faith. It seems....petty. God should be bigger than that.

In any context other than religion, faith is equated with stupidity.

Any god that has a plan that involves that which is ordinarily considered to be stupid, is either foolish, wicked, or only interested in the intellectually impaired. In any of these cases he would not be worthy of that which he demands.

You're right - we shouldn't use our brains, and we certainly shouldn't rely on evidence to prove our knowledge. Instead, we should listen to a 2000 year old book, since it surely has the answers we don't.

Are you really that dumb?

Faith in the Bible isn't a good thing; it promotes slavery, selling your daughter in times of desperation, and sexism, not to mention the vast amount of murder committed by God and in God's name.
