It's been 11 months since I started seeing this guy. In the meantime, we've had a couple short "breaks". The thing is, I've known he was pretty jealous from the beginning, but this time around is way different. He doesn't want me talking to guys (not even my old guy friends who I've known for years), doesn't want me wearing certain things, always has to have the last word, pretty much makes the decisions about having a kid, etc. I know for a fact that he's pretty insecure, but it's like his "love" is suffocating me lately. The other day we had a talk about kids and stuff, and he says I'm gonna have his kid no matter what I say, one way or another, blah blah blah. When things don't go his way, he ignores me and tells me I got him out of a good mood. I don't wanna lose him, but somehow I think his behavior is making me push him away. Nothing's really equal either. He has chick friends but orders my guy friends away. Help!? What do I do?

Dump that loser and stop wasting precious time with him. If you think you have problems with him now, you ain't seen nothing yet. Marry him and you will know what real problems are.

I understand u feel you love this guy. However, he is not right for you. He displays all the signs of an abuser. Being involved with him his not healthy for you. It will not get any better, it will only get worst. Its only a matter of time before he starts hitting you, if he has not already done so. Get out while you can. Don't wait until something terrible happens. Most women have dated a man at some point with abusive tendencies, the key is knowing when to make your exit. Also, if he does not stay away from you don't hesitate to get yourself a restraining order.

RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM HIM!

Tell your parents/close friends of this behavior and let them know without a doubt you want nothing more to do with him.

He sounds like the type who become physically abusive, and you don't want that.

Break it off with him with others around who support you, and if he becomes angered all of you leave (making sure someone is between the two of you). If necessary, have the local police nearby as well.

God bless you.

uh yea he is too controlling and being completely irrational and unfair. It makes complete sense that it is making you push him away and thats probably a smart thing on your part. You need to tell him that. He has to cut it out or your gone, but also try to give him reassurance that he is the only one you want to be with and give him that reassurance every chance you get. Do things to make him more secure like introducing him to your guy friends and don't hang out with them when he isn't around.

i think you should kick his trash to the curb. i don't understand why you girls put up with this crap. if he's not your daddy, don't let him control you. my younger brother is the exact same way. i don't think he deserves a girl. get rid of him and be who YOU wanna be, not who he wants you to be. i dont think a guy should tell a girl what to wear, who her friends are or anything else. there are better guys out there find one.

he's being really harsh on you .. tell him how you feel maybe that will work .. tell him that he's not treating you right and he has to try to change himself.

If you don't want to do as he says, spank him. He might even like it.
