I do most definitely not care about the points. But I do have to insist: I don't think there is a god.
BTW, I don't know which question you're talking about, but you can't make lighthearted comments about anything. A lighthearted racist comment, for instance, would only deserve a very serious rejection.
And also, it is not always easy to understand the spirit in which a question is asked.

Are you really looking for an answer? It sounds like you are just venting. If you are going to want a serious answer then post it in the remarks column. I've done that and I usually get serious answers. Or possibly, it's the question you're asking that invites provacation. I think "most" people do not take this site serious anyway - they are bored & filling the time or just plain curious. As for me - I'm just plain curious. and it's fun. ttfn.

Its because you can't expect every one of every age to be serious.
In this forum people from all over the world of all ages and cultures take part they have their own way of looking at things so some are serious and some are light hearted banter. The points do not matter because no one is going to gain financially.those who want genuine help do get their answers. why bother about others.take it as fun and enjoy it.

Because when you read a post you have no way of knowing the tone that it was asked in. What may seem very obvious to one person that it is sarcasm, may not be to the other person.
So, please understand that sarcasm is not a good thing for this very reason. It's not as apparent to the readers.
So, because a question may seem offensive when it is merely sarcastic, should we penalize people who ask questions that are offensive?

That's why there are 10 points given for the best answer. Hopefully the point collectors will try to get a best ans. once in a while. We do however need to keep it an open forum.

Perception is the key! how was the question put forth , and, how was it perceved by the responder!?
I noticed you were Hayden Lyfe ! Why are you Hayden Lyfe?
Life is what you make it.! what comes from life , depends on what you put IN to life/lyfe.
being upset by people happens because YOU let them upset you.
What do you get when someone spits on you? WET! that is all .
you don't have to let other people control how you feel, you are in control of yourself. everyone is.
Take care of yourself and Be excellent to each other!

I think you pretty much answed your own question.and your icon dosen't help to get people to answer you in a decent manner. Isn't there a subject under which such questions can be asked?
Well ask a silly question and you will get a silly answer or worse.

How do I know in what spirit the question is asked? Are you an idiot or a smart-***? I guess I should know.
