I have my component cables for my ps2 (Red, green, and blue) hooked to my TV? How can I also hook up my new HD tuner at the same time? Also what kind of cables will I need to hook up my tuner? Do I need audio cables?

It sounds like you have a lot of good answers here, but I am going to add my 2 cents worth. To connect your video connection you will need either component video cables, HDMI cables or DVI cables. If you want 5.1 surround sound, then you will need an optical cable (can be found on ebay for relatively cheap) to accomplish that. If you don't care about 5.1, then you will need left/right audio cables but if you have HD then you gotta have surround sound - in my opinion.

Depending on your home theater setup/ your TV/ and/or your receiver this can be accomplished numerous ways. The way I have it set up is by running everything through my receiver because I only have 2 component inputs on my TV (it is an older model). The plus side to running them through your receiver is that you only have to push one button on your receiver remote to get your source changed (in your case ps2 and hd tuner) along with audio. The down side according to some is that you my get some signal loss going through another connection. That may be true but I can't hear the difference.

If you do not have multiple component inputs on your TV or if you are not running a newer model of receiver, then you will need a component switcher. There are many models out there and some of them come with auto switching based on which source is turned on and some even come with remotes to do the switching. These can be found usually for under $100 at Best Buy, EBay, Circuit City etc.

Without knowing what all of your components are, it is a little difficult to give you any more specifice advice, but I hope this helps.

SCART only applies in Europe. If your TV only has one component video connection, you will need a component video switcher or change your PS2 connection to an S-Video connection. I do my component video switching through my Denon surround receiver.
