There is right way to get relaxers and a wrong way. It seems you are getting them the wrong way, which is causing your breakage. You must also do some hot oil treatments once a week to get your hair back into shape. There are hair vitamins in your local drug store that you can take to help your hair grow. But if you keep getting the relaxers the wrong way it wont help.

Well I am an expert at this. First, you should get a fresh relaxer. Make sure your beautician gives you a really good condition and a really good trim. Then, you should get your hair washed and conditioned at least every two weeks. The key is to get it cut or trimmed really good. Because you have breakage, your hair is naturally trying to repair it and it isn't working out. Email me for the rest of the info.

1.let someone else(not yourself)put your relaxer in for you, specifially a hair stylist..the person putting the relaxer in can see things that you can't
2.vitamins do help with continued use (but nothing will happen overnight)
3.stick to the same brand line of products (but the only thing i suggest is to switch shampoos every once in awhile)
4.DO NOT use any gel on your hair for no reason what so ever..it dries out relaxed hair and damages it
5.massage your scalp with the tips of your fingers when you wash your hair it stimulates growth

if you follow this advice your hair will grow

you need to stop getting relaxers done. they are very stressful on your poor hair. i would reccomend do a deep deep conditioning once a week. (i like biolagie hydrothereapie hair balm for this) shampoo then leave it on about 10-15 minutes wrapped up in a towel (perfect timing for a face mask too!). then get back inthe shower and rinse rinse rinse. but you should get it trimmed as short as you can bear and let it grow out with out the relaxer.
