why is there no scholarships for a much needed profession in our community today? barber school is an art! with all the monies provided, 5000.00 would not hurt....

I am trying to make sense of your question. First you ask if there might be a barber school scholarship. Then you complain that there are no scholarships for future Corharie Indian barbers. Then you say that barber school is an art. Maybe you mean barbering is an art. Then you say with all the monies provided - which seems to indicate you think there IS a scholarship out there somewhere. Then you end it with a meaningless number $5000 would not hurt. Hell yeah I'd like $5000 too - it wouldn't hurt. Get a grip. If your son is indeed coming to the end of high school - try and find him a scholarship of any kind to go to a college or junior college of any kind and let him help with the decision making.

go to fastweb.com and it will give a list of hundreds of scholarship companies. You will have to answer a lot of questions about your background, heritage, etc but it is well worth it. After you fill out the info they will give you only scholarships for your career path. It does not cost anything to join or no membership fees. the best i have seen out there.
